Since its inception back in 2020, Cinthie’s Collective Cuts imprint has welcome the likes of
KETTAMA, 9th House, S3A, UC Beatz, Anaxander, Azuni and many more onto the label. Here
the story continues with more dynamic house jams from Cinthie’s coterie of underground
artists from across the globe.
Nashville, USA’s WiLLY MiKK leads with Devastate, laying the foundations for the records
with a classic Hip House vibe, fusing crisp drums, bright stabs and bumpy bass with
choppy hip hop vocals. Small Great Things head honcho Luca Olivotto follows with
‘Passion’, the Berlin based Italian delivers his refreshing disco-tinged House aesthetic via
funky guitar licks, bright chord melodies, ethereal pad textures and shuffled drums.
Batch One’s ‘When U R Free’ follows to open the flip side, merging snaking arpeggios and
bouncy bass notes with uplifting piano lines and a raw, robust rhythm section. Spanish
artist based out of Basel, Switzerland Roque (CRP) then concludes the package with ‘Bring
It Down’, perfectly rounding things out on a deeper tip, raw, reduced drums carry the
groove alongside an amalgamation of chopped vocal chants, dubbed out stabs and tension
building strings.

Kyryl Kyryk, known professionally as Kirik, is a Ukrainian DJ and producer hailing from Kherson. Since 2008, he has been deeply immersed in the electronic music scene, drawing inspiration from German, Romanian, and UK sounds. His music seamlessly blends deep, tech, and minimal elements, characterized by powerful grooves and a dynamic energy. Now, Kirik comes with a stunning five-track release on Cécille Records, the legendary label founded by Nick Curly and Marc Scholl, known for shaping the European house sound. The Hug EP showcases Kirik's refined house sensibilitiesblending emotional depth with club functionality, and offering a diverse yet coherent listening experience for both DJs and house music lovers. The journey begins with 'Hug,' the title track of the EP. It's a forward-driving piece full of energy, propelled by a strong central theme and tight percussive elements. Right from the first beat, the track sets the tone for the release - bold, rhythmic, and focused. Next up is 'What We Luv,' a groovier and more classic house cut, built around swinging rhythms and a looping structure that reflects Cécille's unmistakable identity. Two years ago he released ‘The Peak Season EP’ under his alias Flo 87, hitting all the right buttons, and now his back with ‘The Full Moon EP’ under his own name Jan Rezelman. The EP consist of three brand new tracks, all recorded in 2024. ‘Nobody’ is basically me cutting up a beautiful soul song on my MPC, and re-play it and having fun with it. I’ve put some banging drums under it, Maspaventi did the mastering, so you know it’s ready for club use! ‘Full Moon’ is an up-tempo track where I’m filtering a guitar loop and having fun with it. Anton Pieete mixed it and Sam Irl mastered it to tape, so you already know it’ sounds super phat! ‘Soul Music’ has a more experimental vibe to it, where I was messing with my new synthesizer and came up with this infectious bass-loop and those heavy hitting 808 drums. I added some strings and drum-breaks and kept the track really minimalistic. ‘The Full Moon EP’ is pressed to a limited amount so be quick! The vinyl will be in stores around spring ‘25.

With their EP triptych "Thee Church Ov Acid House Volume 1–3," Oliver Bradford and Jörn Elling Wuttke created a holy trinity of diverse dancefloor variations, a self-contained circle of rave history.

In itself already a heavyweight statement, which they now crowned with “Bells & Whistles - Thee Remixes”. So to speak the quadrature of the circle And as with their original material, this release also reveals a profound knowledge of dance history in the selection of remixers - combined with the best of the here and now.

A1:
The trip begins with Jamie Hodges' ( Born Under A Rhyming Planet ) version of “Acid House Planet”. Hodge was responsible for a number of legendary EPs on Richie Hawtin's Plus 8 label in the early 90s, which explored the deep poetry of techno music. In this sense his remix is also a delicate affair of rarely heard beauty.

A2:
There's Thee Church Ov Acid House themselves, who stretch the swinging groove of Tyson's “G Phunk”, far too short in the original, to almost six minutes. A groove that won't stop.

B1:
And that brings us to the next two legends, this time from the local area. D-Man and Move-D have had a significant influence on dancefloor culture between Heidelberg and Mannheim since its inception. Their lysergic “Theme” remix, with Terrence McKenna vocals and acid twist in the middle, is an epic open air classic to come.

B2:
Lennard Poschmann's aka O-Wells' version of “Rave Mantra”, on the other hand, is deep, digging bass techno for the darkest moments of the night.

Streaming Amsterdam’s D Stone and Milion join forces this May for the sixth release on Cinthie’s 803 Crystal Grooves Collective Cuts imprint. Title-cut ‘Lose My Mind’ leads, laying down crisp saturated drums, crunchy stab
sequences, choppy vocal hooks and bright strings all dynamically evolving throughout for
ultimate dance floor impact. ‘Sunday Remedy’ follows with bumpy breaks, a weighty kick
and amalgamation of vocal samples in combination with gritty bass stabs and classic
piano chords to perfectly encapsulate the essence of house.
Opening the flip-side is ‘Down The Street’, diving deeper with airy chords, breathy vocal
chants and bouncy bass stabs intertwined with a more raw, reduced rhythm section. The
aptly titled ‘Smooth As Butter’ then rounds out the release with a nod to the Detroit House
sound, fusing shimmering keys with jazzy drums, twinkling chime melodies and lowpitched
vocals across its near five minute duration.

German mainstay offers up three varied and vital house weapons to relaunch her label after 2.5
year hiatus
Cinthie is one the most revered voices in underground house music and has been for more than
a decade. Her take on the genre always puts the groove first. It is informed by the classics but
with a contemporary edge and comes on 803 Crystal Grooves as well as cultured outlets like
Aus Music and Heist. As a DJ she mixes up records from her vast collection with equal style and
skill, and is also now live artist who serves up impromptu jams on her collection of hardware.
Hot on the heels of several remixes already this year, the Elevate. Berlin record store boss is
back with a new release just three days before her birthday. As a gift to herself she is
relaunching her label after a 2.5 year hiatus due to pressing plant delays during the pandemic.
Opener 'You Know How' is a joyous piano house anthem that will get hands in the air. Classic,
smartly deployed vocal samples inject an old-school edge while the textured bass brings serious
low-end weight to this utterly timeless gem. The superb 'Mellifluous' rides on smooth drum
bumps as waves of synth wash over the dance floor. They bring feel-good warmth in a subtle,
dynamic fashion that locks dancers in for a blissed-out ride. Last of all, 'Can You' swings

With their EP triptych "Thee Church Ov Acid House Volume 1–3," Oliver Bradford and Jörn Elling Wuttke created a holy trinity of diverse dancefloor variations, a self-contained circle of rave history.

In itself already a heavyweight statement, which they now crowned with “Bells & Whistles - Thee Remixes”. So to speak the quadrature of the circle And as with their original material, this release also reveals a profound knowledge of dance history in the selection of remixers - combined with the best of the here and now.

A1:
The trip begins with Jamie Hodges' ( Born Under A Rhyming Planet ) version of “Acid House Planet”. Hodge was responsible for a number of legendary EPs on Richie Hawtin's Plus 8 label in the early 90s, which explored the deep poetry of techno music. In this sense his remix is also a delicate affair of rarely heard beauty.

A2:
There's Thee Church Ov Acid House themselves, who stretch the swinging groove of Tyson's “G Phunk”, far too short in the original, to almost six minutes. A groove that won't stop.

B1:
And that brings us to the next two legends, this time from the local area. D-Man and Move-D have had a significant influence on dancefloor culture between Heidelberg and Mannheim since its inception. Their lysergic “Theme” remix, with Terrence McKenna vocals and acid twist in the middle, is an epic open air classic to come.

B2:
Lennard Poschmann's aka O-Wells' version of “Rave Mantra”, on the other hand, is deep, digging bass techno for the darkest moments of the night.

Welcome to the second edition of Era Specific Noise! This release sees the debut of three talented new artists to the label - there’s nothing better than a good VA. With an audible sonic influence and shared appreciation for the originality and love poured into old-school techno, ESPN002 has something for every drum machine lover out there.

We kick things off with Toecruncher’s track "Turnstyle", the first of two driving pieces of dancefloor-friendly techno that make up the A side. A classic 16th note bassline, strong percussion, and just the right amount of ear candy and ephemeral pads - this work practically mixes itself into your DJ set. The next output by label head Richardson “Situational Awareness” builds off this style and adds a growling, modulated synthline, a uniqueness which ensures its memorability and slot in your bag.

The clarity in production of B1 “Occhio per occhio” by Alfa Cornae is hard to put into words. There’s a mountain of percussion in this hardgroove-inspired piece and yet, everything seems to have its own place - and those squelchy breakdowns don’t hurt either. Rounding off the release is “Kintsugi” - a slamming, industrial yet ethereal piece by Andrea Crestani. We personally enjoy a release that tells a story, and this track has all the hallmarks and melancholy of an EP closer.

LOCKJAW is up first with a
moody yet optimistic progression through the traffic. There are upbeat
and urgent tones just on the dry side of squelch, with arpeggiators
emerging from the white noise of the hats’ long tails into clean synth
work, as elongated tones gently push their way out of the filter,
drawing out against the shorter synth loops that shimmer and echo
with tight delays.

AROUND comes in punchier and with more pronounced percussion,
gives a sense that something is up, and haze has been left behind.It
acts as a precursor to more arpeggiated bass tones, gently
meandering as they make their way to menacing metallic chords and
modulations, allowing the keys which follow to have a sense of place
before you’re pushed back into grooves and reprise.

ADAPT builds a slow and steady groove layered with, rather than
punctuated by, metallic soaked chords like Basic Channel in bed with a
fever. Vocal loops and lead lines creep their way out of the filter and
cymbals gently exhale into, then inhale out of existence, blending with
the reverberating chords and sedated pads which weave their way
among the foggy reflected tails.

CONTACT slows things back down but punches through harder, with
expansive sinister tones from the word go, in a Carpenteresque fashion
that suggests it’s now time to make that Escape From Los Angeles. A
feeling perpetuated by the vocal samples, pulsing synths and slower
arpeggiated bass which act as groundwork for clean, moody strings
and chords which perfectly round out this dystopian futurescape.

2000’s he’s racked up releases on Hot Creations, BPitch, Defected, Solä, Saved, ElRow and of course his own
Roush among others. Here we see Couto add another reputed label to his affiliations, namely Nick Curly and
Marc Scholl’s Cécille, the powerhouse German label that’s also been a staple platform in the scene since the
early 2000’s.
Opening up the EP is a special collaboration that’s already been causing a stir across South America, Alejandro
Paz’s original vocal of ‘El House’ was released on the beloved Cómeme 12 years ago and became a cult classic.
Here Hector revisits it, stirring in the vocal alongside his own robust, stripped-back house style. ‘Cami’s House’
follows with vacillating sub bass tones, shuffled snares, crisp percussion and resonant flutters running
alongside dubbed out chords and hypnotic vocal hooks.
Opening the B-Side is ‘Hot Stuff’ , leaning into a more filter-house aesthetic with sweeping, choppy soul
samples and swinging drums before ‘Red Velvet’ concludes the release, laying down funk-infused guitar licks,
organic percussive grooves, bulbous low-end tones and twitchy synth stabs.

Perhaps you have already experienced a situation where a friend invited you to a party you knew little about beforehand. You went with the flow, not even knowing what kind of music would be played or what to expect from the evening. Then, it turned out to be one of the most memorable party experiences of your life.

In a way, the second release of the Faith In Truth label is similar—full of surprises and uniqueness.

The EP features tracks by four Hungarian producers, each of whom has approached electronic music from a different perspective. Now, they come together on this release, bringing their completely unconventional music.

What does it feel like when Mr. Fiel takes you on a journey with a breakbeat theme in the sound of the ’90s? Or when oneeyedman sings a love ode during a space voyage? When Gnork captures the electro atmosphere of the ’80s in a track lasting more than eight minutes? Or when Peter Koren tells the story of the night, quoting Miklós Radnóti?

Listen to the third release of Faith In Truth, and you’ll find the answers. Anyone who understands and appreciates electronic (dance) music will find something to love in this EP.

The 12-inch vinyl version is expected in November, with the tracks becoming available in digital format later.

"It has long been my dream to curate and release my own record. After Faith In Truth’s first digital release, I decided that the second should come out on vinyl. I am proud to have such great partners by my side in this circle—my musically well-known friend, Gnork, and the young titans, oneeyedman and Peter Koren. Brian Harden is a second generation Chicago House head, starting in 1995 under the wings of Glenn Underground, being part of the legendary Strictly Jaz Unit. His work on Detroit's Mike Grant and his Moods & Grooves label should also be noted.

One of his most famous works is his second EP on Cajmere's Relief Records, originally issued in 1996. The EP contains some of the most prolific drum machine action ever committed to vinyl and stands for the sound that brought Chicago House on top of the underground Music map in the mid 90s.

All four tunes have been carefully remastered from the original material for maximum club performance!

From adrenalin-boosting fractals of keyboard razzle-dazzle ("Chemical Element") to straight out pumping EBM primed for hi-octane mosh pits down the basement ("You Are Welcome"), via polyrhytmic percs-driven assaults and sizzling hot synth-smithery ("Into a Sampler"), the pressure levels never falter. Yet, Italo Brutalo sure knows how to weave further oneiric, softer narratives for your mind to frolic in unhindered ("Dream Machine") and rounds it all off with a total, space-opera'esque epic bound to have you spinning out of orbit into the great unknown ("Eternia"). "Heartware" is released in a neat double-vinyl gatefold package presenting the concept and machines involved in its making, including a twelve page booklet featuring Italo Brutalo's key pieces of gear.

Jens Brachvogel & Tilo Ciesla aka Studio 54, aka Dole & Kom is probably the most
productive producer duo of German underground House Music. They did Disco House
with heavy 808 & 909 beats in the mid 90s already – long before it stormed the German
dance charts. They've remixed legends like Green Velvet, Black Box or Mateo & Matos or
even pope heroes like Marc Almond. Their tunes came out on top tier labels like Nervous,
Relief Records, Force Tracks and of course local Formaldehyd and BCC Music from
Berlin.
Their Studio 54 project started in 1997 and quickly became their most popular moniker.
Due to copyright restrictions they had to rename it „Studio 45“, a name they're still using
today. On their „Vol. 2“ record in 1997 they were inspired by Disco and Boogie tunes of the
70s and early 80s that indeed were popular at the famous New York night club.
What makes their tunes unique to this day is their hypnotizing, druggy approach to the
original tunes. You never get a cheap, commercial copy, you'll get a mesmerizing mind trip
back to the glory days of Disco, seasoned with the best classic drum machines got in
them.

Cinthie makes a welcome return to her own 803 Crystal Grooves imprint this June for its
sixth release, the project comprises four original’s showcasing Cinthie’s many different
sonic styles and influences.
The past decade has seen Berlin’s Cinthie moving from strength to strength, racking up
milestone achievements like her DJ Kicks mix compilation and a steady stream of
critically acclaimed material via the likes of Aus, Heist, Shall Not Fade and of course her
own 803 Crystal Grooves label where she returns here with some fresh machine jams.
‘Grooves’ kicks off the package, a dynamic dance floor cut fuelled by processed vocals
uttering the track title, murky bass stabs, heavily swung drums and gritty saturated stabs
all dynamically evolving and unfolding throughout. ‘Boxer’ follows next and showcases
Cinthie’s love for dub-tinged sounds, laying down spiralling dub echoes, a snaking bass
groove and hypnotic chord sequences atop a robust, swinging rhythm section.
‘Hands Up’ then kicks off the B-Side, shifting gears to a classic House aesthetic with
dreamy keys, bright stab sequences, glistening synth textures and smooth strings,
intertwined with soulful vocals and classic 909 workout. ‘She Wants It’ then concludes the
EP on a more cinematic tip with sweeping lead synths, fluttering arpeggios, elongated
bass drones and vocal lines running with raw, crunchy drums.
